The Vine Street access is a take-out only for the Cahaba Blueway, and consists of a long concrete boat ramp within Old Cahawba Archaeological Park. As you come up the ramp, restrooms are on your right and there are picnic tables nearby as well. Be mindful that the park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The front gate is closed at 5:00 PM. You can request after hour access at the Ranger’s Trailer, but we recommend that you try to avoid taking out after hours. While you are here, be sure to visit the park and learn about the site’s fascinating history!
